A pair of fine etchings of the famous series: Gesigten buijten Haarlem (Views in the surroundings of Haarlem) made by Van de Vinne as part of a series of twelve around 1680-1700. Two views on the rural village of Overveen: "Half wegen Overveen, Landscape with a road and buildings at right" (Hollstein 12), ''t Dorp Overveen' View of a row of buildings in a village, one has a a sign of a swan and could be an inn'' (Hollstein 12). Fine examples of the realistic Dutch landscape from the Golden Age.
