- Ancient Greece, Seleukid Kingdom Séleucus IV Philopator - Double uni Æ (c. 187-175 bC) R2 TTB Specimen on a small flan, well centred, with regular wear, with visible beading. Nice portrait of Artemis. Lovely reverse. Black and sandy patina. Metal: Bronze serratus. Weight: 6.29 g Diameter: 21 mm Obverse: Laurelled head of Apollo facing right, with long hair flowing down the neck. Reverse: Apollo standing nude, left, holding an arrow in the right hand and leaning with the left on a tripod. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY Light weight. Centring hole visible on each side. Rare R2 type.
