Elegant segmental picture frame by Italian designer Tommaso Barbi, dating from the 1970s. The frame features a distinctive half-moon form with a twisted, rope-like rim in glazed orange ceramic and a brass support on the back. The reverse is inscribed “Tommaso Barbi”.
A fine example of Barbi’s sculptural decorative objects and a strong, decorative accent for a vintage or mid-century interior.
