This rare panoramic surimono print presents a bustling view of Edo's Nihonbashi ("Bridge of Japan"), with a lively group of townspeople and merchants in the foreground. In the distance, the majestic Mount Fuji rises above the rooftops. A superb example of urban Edo landscape by Hokusai, combining vibrant human activity with precise architectural detail.
