An important wood sitting Buddha on throne statue talisman with inscription from the ancient Indochinese, Laotian culture, Second Millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Luang Prabang/Laos by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
