Charity Auction (lo per Lei - Telethon)

All proceeds from this auction will go to Telethon. Catawiki will waive seller commision in favour of Telethon for the benefit of the charity Fondazione Telethon is a major Italian biomedical charity founded in 1990 by a group of patients with muscular dystrophy. Its mission is to find ways to cure rare genetic diseases through excellent scientific research at an international level. Through their unique method, the foundation follows the entire ‘research chain’, taking care of the collection funding, the selection and financing of projects, and of the research carried out in the centres on behalf of the foundation. Telethon also develops partnerships with public health institutions and pharmaceutical industries to make these research results available to patients. Since its foundation, the foundation has invested over €450 million in research, has funded more than 2,500 projects with over 1500 researchers involved, and has studied more than 470 diseases.
