The 262 c Bertone is the first luxury Coupé model of Volvo, of which in the period '77-'81 6622 were produced. The car is the result of a great cooperation between Volvo and the Italian Carrozzeria Bertone.

This car comes in the rare edition of black lacquer with a black vinyl top. The interior is in good condition with handmade Italian leather on the seats and head liner. The electric windows, mirror adjustment, heated seats and more luxury features of the car were far ahead of its time.

The car has been majorly serviced in January and February where also a new water pump was installed, a new outlet was mounted, a refurbished CPR and power steering pump was built and the complete electronics of the car are checked. The car still has a valid 
Dutch General Periodical Inspection until April 7, 2018 and it falls within the vintage car legislation, which will make it only costs € 120 per year in road tax.

There is a four speed automatic gearbox built in which gives the car more power, this is very nice because the default implementation was in 3 gears. Good to know is that the air conditioning is not connected. This could be fixed, but I have chosen to not do this - it is still in there and can be connected if desired.

For the enthusiasts it is nice to mention that there is an original manual included and that the crown details of the car are top condition. The car has blacked-out rear windows, which suggests that he is used in the USA as an executive car / luxury car.

As seen on the pictures the car is in great condition, but also mechanically it runs great. There’s a small dent on the hood from the inside of about 1 cm that is touched up, but that's the only notable to the paintwork. It is recommended to view the car before bidding, to avoid disappointment. Please contact Catawiki to schedule a visit.

This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The car can also be delivered within Netherlands if desired, costs will be discussed in consultation.
