Amalgam - 1:12 - Talbot Lago - Figoni and Fallaschi

This exquisite 1:12 scale model is of the 1938 Talbot-Lago T150C Super Sport ‘Goutte d’Eau’ bodied by Figoni et Falaschi. 200 of these models were commissioned from Amalgam by Louis Vuitton, to be included in their Legendary Xmas window displays in 2011 following this car taking the Concours Award for the most beautiful classic at the Louis Vuitton Classic Awards 2010/11. This example is the approval prototype of the model. The model is a perfect colour match for the dark ‘aubergine’ of the real car, that appears black in subdued light, but comes to vibrant life in sunlight. Only 14 examples of the ‘Goutte d’Eau’ were created by Figoni et Falaschi, currently valued at around $5million.
