Johann Baptiste Divora - Beschreibung der Panaceae Solaris, Oder Universal-Pillulen - 1720

Johann Baptiste Divora - Beschreibung der Panaceae Solaris, Oder Universal-Pillulen - 1720

Extremely rare booklet published at the beginning of the 18th century by a certain B.D.V [Johann Baptiste Divora] about a universal remedy "Panaceae Solaris" which he gives the description and its use to cure the various diseases of the time: "in der Pest" (Plague), gonorheae (gonorrhea), colica (colic), etc.

Very nice publication entirely printed in Gothic characters, coat of arms engraved with etching in sanguine on the title (probably those of the author, no information on it or on the coat of arms). Thumbnail in sanguine on the next page with the initials of the author. Beautiful typography of the time, the paragraph heads are printed in bold.

In very good condition. Rare literary and medical curiosity.
