Magnificent Schaubach Kunst figurine originally named “Bauchliegende”/ “Lying On“ as titled in the “Modell Buch Wallendorf/ Schaubach Kunst“ , in excellent condition. The marvelous figurine was designed in 1950s for Schaubach Kunst Porzellan Manufaktur by Kurt Steiner (1904 - 1970), the famous German modeler and designer since the early 1930s, who influenced Thuringian ornamental porcelain for decades. It depicts a gracious young blonde lady, dressed in a white short dress, lying down on the belly with both legs slightly lifted in the air, in very glamorous pose. The figurine is in excellent condition, marked on the back with crowned Schaubach Kunst mark in green with E under the swords, impressed numbered #1395/1, beautifully sculpted and glazed, one finger missing, NO cracks, NO hairlines and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
