Uchchhishta Ganesha (Sanskrit: उच्छिष्ट-गणपति) is a Tantric aspect of the Hindu god Ganesha. He is one of the thirty-two forms of Ganesha, frequently mentioned in devotional literature. The statue consist of two figures, Ganesha and Shakti, connected by coïtus. Both figures carry symbolic objects in their hands, uniting their energies in the act of devine creation. Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. He is widely revered as the remover of obstacles and thought to bring good luck through wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rites and ceremonies. Shakti (Devanagari: शक्ति, "Energy, ability, strength, effort, power, capability") is the fundamental cosmic energy and a central deity within Shaktism, a significant theological tradition of Hinduism. Representing dynamic forces that permeate the universe, Shakti embodies feminine energy.
