Werkelijk een icoon met een onmiskenbare uitstraling de Mercedes S-klasse 280 S/8 automatic uit 1971

De 108 serie is als S-Klasse tot 1972 gebouwd, ook bekend door zijn prachtige ingetogen klassieke lijn. Heden ten dage wordt de W108 nog immer gekenschetst als een elegante auto.

De carrosserie maakt een goede, solide indruk; ondanks dat zijn er zichtbare lichte gebruiksplekken, en kan het lakwerk op verschillende plekke lichtjes de aandacht gebruiken
Het chroomwerk ziet er nog zeer mooi uit evenals de chrome wielen met goede banden. 
Er zijn laswerkzaamheden nodig links in de kofferbak.


Het interieur is voorzien van half lederen bekleding met armsteunen voor & achter,  schuifdak, stuur automaat en een originele Becker Europe Kurier radio.
In deze kleurstelling een hele bijzondere verschijning en het prachtige bruine interieur met armsteunen maakt het helemaal af.


Onder de motorkap vind je een krachtige 2.8 liter 6 cilinder benzine motor die goed is voor 150 PK en uitgerust met een automatische transmissie. De Mercedes  is niet alleen relatief snel op de rechte stukken, maar ook soepel en efficiënt op de snelweg, waardoor elke rit een waar genot wordt.
De motor loopt en de automaat schakelt goed door, de auto heeft een aantal jaren droog binnen gestaan het advies is dan ook om eerst even alles na te lopen voordat u de weg op mee op gaat, de motor kan wellicht wat onderhoud gebruiken.

Deze Mercedes heeft aandacht nodig om hem weer in nette conditie te krijgen.
