Mr Pfizenmaier worked closely with Sir Cecil Beaton and in this case he photographed Sir Beaton while photographing Mrs Monroe. This is one of the Sepia tone photographs from the full suite, with provenance from the famed Constantiner Collection. The impressive Constantiner Collection, assembled by Leon and Michaela Constantiner, focused on photography that celebrated fashion, style, celebrity and desire.
