1990 Marc Brédif, Vouvray "Brédif Collection" - Loire, Vouvray - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

3 bottles (75cl) of the very hard to get bottles of Marc Bredif Vouvray Collection. The vintage is 1990. Vouvray Collection by Marc Bredif represents only the best vintages of sweet Vouvray made with botrytis affected grapes (Chenin Blanc). These are exceptional wines with a residual sugar level of more than 60g (and sometimes much more). The older vintages sell for several hundred euros. The bottles have been preserved (untill recently) in the underground cellars of the wine house. The bottles come from an original case of 6 bottles. They will be shipped to you in a secure protective packaging designed to prevent bottle damage. --- The wine house: Established in 1893 by Monsieur Brédif, Maison Brédif is one of the most well-known and respected Maisons in the region and in the world for its high quality. Known for its Vouvray but also for its late harvest wines Monsieur Brédif was a pioneer in the world of winemakers, creating the sparkling Vouvray at the beginning of the XX century. In 1980 Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took up the torch as a real wine lover. He instilled a new lease of life to this century old house, keeping its high-quality and tradition. Its troglodyte cellars dug in the tuffeau since the 10th century are among the most beautiful and the largest of the appellation. They keep in their galleries very rare wines which vintages go back to 1874. The single bottles will be shipped to you in a secure, protective packaging.
