Perhaps because of their history of being oppressed as minorities in the great nation of the United States, Chicanos have formed strong bonds with other members of their own race, and their actual situation has not been well known to the public. This book is a rare reportage that brings the true face of the Chicano gang, which was said to be almost impossible to find. This book is the result of an encounter between KEI, a former yakuza gang member and producer of this book, and Keisuke Nagoshi, a photographer who believes in communicating with his subjects and photographing them at the shortest possible distance.
