STORIA/PANORAMICA
La SL R129 è il risultato di una lunga gestazione volta all'introduzione di una nuova roadster che rompesse con le linee ormai datate della precedente serie. Infatti, nella seconda metà degli anni ottanta la SL R107, lanciata nell'ormai lontano 1971, iniziava a sentire il peso degli anni, sia a livello stilistico che tecnico (benché la Casa di Stoccarda l'avesse aggiornata più volte). 
Occorreva pertanto un modello nuovo, non solo più moderno come linea e contenuti, ma addirittura che guardasse al futuro lanciando una nuova sfida alle concorrenti più accreditate. 
Si iniziò a lavorare sul prototipo fin dal 1984, finché, nel marzo 1989, venne svelata la nuova generazione di Roadster SL, considerata tutt'oggi da molti la migliore tra le serie di SL prodotte finora.

Questa Mercedes-Benz - SL 320 è stata oggetto di restauro e integralmente riverniciata nel 2019.
La vettura viene consegnata con Certificato di Rilevanza Storica ASI, dichiarazione della casa madre e storico fatture dei lavori eseguiti.

Vettura riverniciata totalmente nel 2019, si presenta in ottime condizioni generali.
La capote ha plastiche trasparenti nuove.
Ammortizzatori, impianto di scarico, iniettori, fari anteriori, sedili nuovi.
Impianto radio Pioneer a scomparsa completo di telecamera posteriore, lettore CD, navigatore e bluetooth. Gomme Continental nuove.

MECCANICA
Il motore 6 cilindri 3200 cc è abbinato a un cambio automatico a 5 marce.
Il vano motore si presenta pulito senza tracce di ruggine.
