Rokna AD Labs - RD-26 DAC - Digital Analog Converter

AD LABS RD-26 DAC Features: SP/DIF and Digital coaxial inputs Balanced (XLR) and single ended (RCA) audio outputs Headphone output (Integrated headphone amplifier) Volume control (Can be directly connected to an audio power amplifier) Wireless option (Usb dongle) Linear power supplies only Approx. 50.000 uf filtering bank 10 low noise voltage regulators Optional remote control Black anodised aluminium case The system upsamples the incoming spdif data to 192KHz sample rate asynchronously. In this process most of the jitter present at the input is eliminated before the digital to analog conversion stage. The RD26 variable output can drive directly a power amplifier, therefore a preamp is not absolutely neccesary in the system. The output stage is suited as well for high-quality headphones. Besides the RF, single ended and balanced conectivity, the set of features allows filter selection (5 types available), phase invert and channel switch. Filters available are linear, minimum phase and apodising (soft and brickwall). Careful signal routing and component placement was considered during the engineering process. Two separate transformers are used for digital and analog sections. Low noise regulators and extensive local decouplings , os-con and polypropylene are used for clean dc lines inside the dac. Overall Specifications: - Input sample rate 32 to 192 KHz - Inputs: SP/DIF, AES/EBU, USB (wireless) - Outputs : RCA, XLR, Headphones - Output impedance : 32 ohms - Variable output : 0 - 4 V RMS - Harmonic Distortion + Noise 0.001% - Signal-to-Noise Ratio 120 dB - Dimensions (W x H x D) 160 x 55 x 220 mm
