Well-defined Orbicular Structures Kambaba Jasper Obelisk from Madagascar. - Height: 240 mm - Width: 60 mm- 1200 g

Well-defined Orbicular Structures Kambaba Jasper Obelisk from Madagascar. - Height: 240 mm - Width: 60 mm- 1200 g

This obelisk in Kambaba jasper has been carved from a block sourced from the Archean sediments of Madagascar. The alternation of dark green and black tones, with well-defined orbicular structures, gives the stone a mysterious and ancient appearance, similar to frozen marine microcosms in time.
The polished surface reveals intricate details: concentric circles, wavy veins, and deep inclusions, which give the obelisk an extraordinary sculptural presence and a powerful visual energy.
Kambaba jasper is a sedimentary variety of jasper, different from volcanic jaspers. It is mainly composed of microcrystalline quartz, with significant inclusions of silicified stromatolites: ancient fossil structures produced by cyanobacteria, among the earliest photosynthetic life forms to appear on the planet.
It was formed over 2 billion years ago, during the Precambrian Era, in shallow coastal marine environments, where cyanobacteria accumulated layers of organic material and calcium carbonate, later replaced by silica during diagenesis.
Kambaba jasper is known for its energetic properties related to connection to the Earth, stability, and ancestral memory. It is often used in crystal therapy as a grounding stone and for deep meditation, as it is believed to hold the primordial vibration of life.
The obelisk, in particular, is a shape that channels energy upward, serving as a natural amplifier for spaces of introspection, study, meditation, or collection display.
