This Direct-Drive Technics SL-D202 is in very nice shape and was serviced in April 2025. It comes with a brand new Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge with brand new stylus. The turntable looks nice and runs like a charm. The SL-D202 is a solid and very reliable 2-speed, FG-servo control, direct drive turntable fitted with an s-shaped, tubular tonearm. It's very easily operated through it's front panel controls. There's a stop-button that activates the automatic return at any time, there are 33rpm and 45rpm buttons for convenient speed change (both with fully functional indication lights), there's a pitch control wheel that allows a 10% adjustment range, a cueing switch for raising or lowering the tonearm, and a power button. The strobelight allows detailed pitch control. At the end of the record, the tone-arm automatically returns to base. All functionalities work great. During servicing moving parts were cleaned and relubricated, the pitch controls were cleaned and the turntable was speed adjusted for perfect rpm. Contacts were cleaned and the automatic tone-arm stop was recalibrated. The turntable runs perfectly stable and accurately on speed. The turntable comes with an Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge with brand new stylus. The original dustcover is in smooth, clear shape while it shows light handling signs. There's a light mark in the upper-right corner that can be identified on photo 14. Both original hinges let the lid stand opened in different positions. The bsilver base is in overall nice condition. Included are a printed photocopy of the user manual, the anti-static mat, counter-weight, and 7” adapter. The turntable will be very carefully packaged - from a lot of experience in shipping vintage turntables - in a very strong box, multiple layers of bubble foam, airbags and other protective materials and with all loose parts carefully secured.
