Het Central Station combineert de veel gebruikte protocollen Motorola, mfx en DCC met een groot kleuren-touchscreen met 2 stuurtafels voor het eenvoudig en comfortabel besturen van de locomotieven. De locomotieven kunnen met afbeeldingen in kleur worden weergegeven. Verder is het Central Station voorzien van een geïntegreerde Märklin Digital-locdatabank en twee ingebouwde lockaartlezers (voor het opslaan van locgegevens op een lockaart en voor het snel oproepen van de locomotief door het plaatsen van de lockaart). mfx-locomotieven worden automatisch herkend en met al hun eigenschappen in de loclijst opgenomen. Daarnaast zijn een krachtige booster voor de rij- en schakelstroomvoorziening van de modelbaan, 20 (DCC: 128) keyboards voor de bediening van maximaal 320 (DCC: 2048) magnetische accessoires, een seintableau en een rijwegregeling (incl. pendeltreinregeling) geïntegreerd. Het Central Station kan meerdere apparaten aansturen, d.w.z. met de optionele kabel (60123) kunnen verschillende Central Stations (60214 of 60215) samen op een modelbaan worden gebruikt, waarbij de Central Stations gemeenschappelijke en afzonderlijke configuraties voor de te bedienen modelbaangebieden kunnen bevatten. Het Central Station beschikt over een ingebouwde USB-aansluiting (bijvoorbeeld voor muis, toetsenbord en USB-stick) en over een netwerkaansluiting voor de communicatie met een pc. Belastbaarheid bij aansluitrail: max. 5 A, belastbaarheid bij programmeerrail: max. 1,2 A. Bij gebruik van schakelnetdeel 60061 ontstaat een maximaal uitgangsvermogen van 58 VA en een maximale stroom van 3 A (bij 60215 met schakelnetdeel 60101 ontstaat een maximale stroom van 5 A, die uitsluitend voor Spoor 1 wordt aanbevolen. Gebruik een kabel met een doorsnede van minimaal 0,5 mm²!). Software versie 3.0.

The Central Station combines the commonly used protocols Motorola, mfx, and DCC with a large color touch screen and 2 control consoles for easy and comfortable operation of the locomotives. The locomotives can be displayed with color images. Furthermore, the Central Station is equipped with an integrated Märklin Digital locomotive database and two built-in lock card readers (for storing locomotive data on a lock card and for quickly calling up the locomotive by placing the lock card). mfx locomotives are recognized automatically and included in the locomotive list with all their properties. Additionally, a powerful booster for the ride and switching power supply of the model railway, 20 (DCC: 128) keyboards for controlling up to 320 (DCC: 2048) magnetic accessories, a signal tableau, and a route regulation system (including shuttle train control) are integrated. The Central Station can control multiple devices; i.e., with the optional cable (60123), different Central Stations (60214 or 60215) can be used together on a model railway, with the Central Stations containing shared and separate configurations for the areas to be operated. The Central Station has a built-in USB connection (for example, for mouse, keyboard, and USB stick) and a network connection for communication with a PC. Load capacity at the connection rail: max. 5 A; load capacity at the programming rail: max. 1.2 A. When using power supply unit 60061, a maximum output power of 58 VA and a maximum current of 3 A are available (in the case of 60215 with power supply unit 60101, a maximum current of 5 A is available, which is recommended solely for Track 1.
