Neolithic flint/agate Large Neolithic 'Tilemsi' spire (No Reserve Price)
This large point could serve as a spear point and was first discovered in Eastern Mali and therefore has its specific name 'tilemsi point'. Although the name refers to a region in Mali, this object comes from Niger. The point was made from a flint that was first heated before being worked. In this way, flakes could be obtained that were relatively long and straight. The point was finely retouched. The base was also finely retouched and the point is very thin.
In perfect condition, no restorations.
Dimensions 110 x 31 mm
