Minolta Minoltaflex Twin lens reflex camera (TLR)
Minolta's first TLR camera from the 1930s and the second TLR in Japanese history. This first Minolta model is inspired by the Rolleicord.
It comes with a Promar Anastigmat 75mm f:3.5 lens and the Crown II-TIYOKO shutter. The variation with the logo is in italics.
Signs of regular use, paint peeling in some parts but overall well preserved. They have a small speck on the focusing screen which I think you can see in the photos. The lenses have minor marks, some dust inside and if you use a strong backlight through them you can see some fungus. Mechanically everything seems to work, but the accuracy of the shutter speeds has not been tested. The frame counter numbers change when the film advances. It has a curious system of loading the shutter, advancing the film and resetting the frame counter by using two side buttons together with a side shutter release lever. Before using, please contact me to explain the operation or investigate it well to prevent damaging the camera.
