Solid ash wood, evenly grained, from sustainable forestry in Germany. Bio-sealed, easy-care surface.
The multifunctional MUSHROOM-PS side table celebrates the new simplicity. Traditional craftsmanship, contemporary design and soulful ash wood form a happy lifelong union. The characteristic cone, the elegantly floating top with a precise Swiss edge and the perfect wood grain follow the principle of linear clarity. Each MUSHROOM-PS is a natural, unique piece that acts like a meditative design oasis in its surroundings. MUSHROOM-PS is available in NATURAL and BLACK editions, each limited to 12 pieces.
Traditional cooper craftsmanship gave the idea for MUSHROOM-PS. The grounded cone and the floating plate with a 49 cm radius and a 10 mm tapered edge create an exciting contrast. 18 knothole-free staves are made individually in a barrel construction and then laboriously turned by hand to form the round cone. The ash wood table is finally sanded and oiled. The cone and plate are connected by a precise shadow gap with a shock-absorbing felt insert. The MUSHROOM-PS side table goes perfectly with the MUSHROOM-FS dining table.
About Holy Objects:
Designer Daniel Heilig founded Heilig Objects to create furniture with more emotion and warmth.
His furniture fills living spaces with soul, aesthetics, and their own history. Qualities that the artist finds lacking in German furniture design. Daniel Heilig fills the vacuum with authentic design language and unconventional, heartfelt designs that often blur the line between furniture design and applied art.
His collectible pieces stand for soul, aesthetic poetry, and authentic stories. Created for the life situations and mentalities of modern nomads and individualists who love contemplative design oases, minimalist everyday furniture, and atmospheric interior design. For the designer, his objects are design oases that invite contemplative reflection.
