Console table - Marble, Walnut - NAPOLEON III
Elegante console in noce risalente al primo periodo Napoleone III, intorno al 1850. Il design sobrio ed equilibrato riflette il gusto classico dell’epoca con accenti borghesi.
Le gambe tornite, dalla forma detta “barber loop” (così definita dagli antiquari americani a fine Ottocento), danno slancio e raffinatezza alla struttura.
Il piano in marmo grigio venato, originale dell’epoca, è integro e privo di danni. La console è nel complesso ben conservata, con un solo piccolo restauro visibile sul fianco sinistro (taccone documentato in foto), che non ne compromette né stabilità né estetica.
Perfetta per ambienti classici o eclettici, è ideale come mobile da ingresso o come base per oggetti d’arte.

Elegant walnut console dating back to the early Napoleonic III period, around 1850. The sober and balanced design reflects the classical taste of the era with bourgeois accents.
The curved legs, called "barber's loop" shape (as defined by American antique dealers at the end of the 19th century), give momentum and refinement to the structure.
The veined gray marble top, original to the period, is intact and undamaged. The console is overall well preserved, with only a small restoration visible on the left side (a patch documented in the photo), which does not compromise its stability or aesthetic.
Perfect for classic or eclectic environments, it is ideal as an entryway piece or as a base for art objects.
