ETR 450 ( ElettroTrenoRapido 450 ) was de eerste serie Italiaanse kantelbare treinstellen (ook wel Pendolino genoemd ).
Het Pendolino-project werd in de jaren 70 gestart door FIAT Ferroviaria . De ontwikkeling omvatte een aantal prototypes, waarvan de laatste de ETR 401 was . Dit prototype werd gevolgd door de ETR 450-serie. De eerste trein reed in 1988 tussen Rome en Milaan .

ETR 450 (ElettroTrenoRapido 450) was the first series of Italian tilting trainsets (also called Pendolino).
The Pendolino project was initiated in the 1970s by FIAT Ferroviaria. The development included several prototypes, the last of which was the ETR 401. This prototype was followed by the ETR 450 series. The first train ran in 1988 between Rome and Milan.
