Cartist - The Creation of Speed (Unq 1/1)

Cartist - The Creation of Speed (Unq 1/1)

Cartist establishes itself as one of the new faces of contemporary automotive art. With The Creation of Speed, he revisits Michelangelo's iconic Creation of Adam in a decidedly modern and provocative version. Here, God does not only give life to man but a divine passion: that of speed.

In this work created with acrylic, two red supercars, symbols of power, desire, and excess, replace the biblical ground. Adam no longer rests on the earth but on the hood of a sports car, contemplating divinity through the lens of mechanical modernity. The outstretched finger becomes the sacred link between artistic tradition and contemporary performance worship.

Cartist boldly questions our era: what if the new gods were powered? What if creation was no longer made in the dust but in the roar of an engine?

The Creation of Speed is more than a tribute: it's a manifesto. That of a generation that boldly and fresh merges classical aesthetics with car culture.
