Mesopotamian Red Stone Stamp Seal Quadruped Shaped with Original Prof. Lambert Report Ca. 3000 - 2500 BC. A Mesopotamian red stone amulet, pierced vertically. It presents a standing quadruped (bovine?) with head turned forward. The back is flat. Size: 21.1mm x 26.5mm; Weight: 9.79g Provenance: Property of a London gallery; formerly with a Mayfair Art dealer S.A.; Ex. 1990s London collections, studied and catalogued by professor Lambert in the early 90s (with original note, signed by him).
