Book with cardboard leaves with ten tabs at the top showing images of brown boys and girls. The story about the loss of one after the other starts on the front cover. One stays on the side of the road, one falls asleep, one doesn't want to go home, one cuts his with a knife, one is stung by a bee, one teases and is put in a cage, one falls into the water while fishing, one keeps looking at a bear and one thinks the sun is too hot. The last one finds a girlfriend. Ten brown children on the back cover. With four-line rhymes.
Picture book about ten little Indians, one of whom is lost in every adventure. The numbers are written in words.
A counting booklet in which pieces are omitted from the top of the cardboard pages: little Indians who are lost. The first rhyme begins on the front cover. The illustrations (colourful and somewhat stiff) cover two opposite pages. The five-line rhymes are on the left page. The last rhyme contains six lines: all ten Indians are together again. Language and syntax of the rhymes in childish Dutch.
