Descripción del vendedor
Up for auction is a nice antique 4/4 italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Tomaso Eberle fecit Nap. 1790. The instrument was professionally restored - grafted scroll, bushed peg-holes, good ebony set up by Guardelli, master made bridge and new Vision strings. There are some small professionally repaired cracks. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The purfling is professionally executed and the edges are masterfully done. The varnish of golden amber color remains in excellent condition. Straight high grained spruce top. The narrow flamed one piece maple back measures 355 mm. The total length of the violin is 592 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 167 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 204 mm. The sound is very good, deep, rich, powerful, suitable for soloist. The shipping worldwide insured!

Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
