The vase features a full, rounded form with a narrow mouth and is beautifully adorned with hand-painted motifs of green and gold bamboo leaves (竹文). The gold embellishments are applied using the traditional kinsai (金彩, gold decoration) technique, showcasing the refined aesthetic and craftsmanship typical of Kyo-yaki. The soft ivory base glaze is delicately crackled (kan'nyū), adding depth and character. This piece comes with its original signed wooden tomobako (storage box) and includes a certificate detailing the artist’s career and accomplishments.
