Campo del Cielo is an extensive area located in Argentina in the Chaco Austral division. The camp is located on the border of the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero, about 800 km northwest of Buenos Aires. The impact of the fragments with the earth's surface led to the formation of the craters currently present and to the dispersion, in the area surrounding the impact, of a large quantity of metal fragments, which can still be found in the area today.
