The damage must be reported to your local post office within 7 days of delivery, and promptly to us and Catawiki support. 【Product details】 This striking glass bowl by Jinnai Sakata represents the artist’s exploration beyond ceramics into new materials such as glass, while maintaining the expressive Shinjin-mon (deep-impression) pattern that defines his signature style. The swirling relief pattern, reminiscent of ancient Jomon motifs, creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across the translucent surface. Although shaped as a bowl, it also functions as a sculptural object, combining the fluidity of glass with the tactile depth of Sakata’s design language. Jinnai Sakata studied under Shoji Kamoda in 1964 and established his kiln in Mashiko in 1966. He has exhibited widely in Japan and internationally, extending his creative practice into paper, glass, and lighting. Good used condition with minimal wear.
