"Strenco Roboter St1 Germany" 19cm high tin wind up robot . Designed by Volker Strauss The robot is Germany's only tin metal robot from 1955. The Strenco robot was the third toy robot ever produced, after the Lilliput and the Atomic Robot Man. It was copied by Japanese companies shortly after its release. You can still recognize the minimalist aesthetic of the Bauhaus period in this robot. The robot shows has signs of age and playwear, and what looks like some discoloration on the chest, but has all the original parts and still works fine.
