Large Chinese porcelain bowl plants and birds, marked Kangxi –China- 19th Century On offer is a large Chinese porcelain bowl with a continuous decoration on the outside divided into 6 sections. In each section, a decoration of flower branches and alternating birds. 1 section has a decoration of a butterfly among the little branches. The bowl is marked at the bottom with a Kangxi 4-character mark in double circle. In the center of the bowl a large peony flower branch and at the wall several stylized flower stems. Provenance: From the private collection of a deceased collector from North Holland. Date: late 19th Century Qing period. Size: This bowl measures ca. 20,7 cm across and 9,5 cm in height. Condition: Good. Several rim frits and small chips along the rim. No hairlines. Good ring sound! Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance.
