Chinese porcelain plate with figures –China- 18th Century On offer is a Chinese porcelain plate with a decoration of 2 high officials and a boy servant, gathered in a garden with pine tree and a pavilion at the background. On the raised edge of the plate a sketchy trellis pattern interrupted by 4 medallions with book scrolls. At the flared rim a floral band with flowers and leaves. The plate has a nice ochre colored rim (Jia mangkou). Undecorated at the back. Provenance: From the private collection of a deceased collector from North Holland. Date: Qianlong period 1736-1795 ca. 1750. Size: This plate measures cm across. Condition: Near excellent ! 2 minor fleabites only.
