This exceptional Japanese Kutani ware porcelain vase was produced in 2006 (Heisei 18) as an official commemorative work celebrating the birth of Prince Hisahito of Akishino (悠仁親王殿下御生誕記念), the first male heir born to the Japanese Imperial Household in over four decades. As such, this piece holds not only artistic value but also distinct historical and imperial significance.
