The Viré-Clessé displays a splendid, fairly pale straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers aromas of tropical fruit and flowers, while on the palate it is harmonious, with aromas of passion fruit and a good balance between roundness and mineral acidity. The finish is enlivened by a great freshness. The Héritiers du Comte Lafon estate, in the Mâconnais region, was created in 1999 by Dominique Lafon (owner of the Comtes Lafon estate in Meursault). It has established itself as a benchmark in the appellation, particularly with its high-quality white wines. Today, its vineyards are cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming principles. Ideal with grilled fish, fish in sauce, foie gras, fresh cheeses or soft cheeses.
