Natura Magica is a photographic book by the Czech photographer Jiří Stach, published in 2006 by Galerie Nový Svět. The book presents the first comprehensive overview of the artist’s work, including photographs and drawings created between 1975 and 2005, forming a visually rich and distinctive world of images imbued with mysticism, symbolism, and often surrealistic poetics. Stach’s images and graphics captivate with their ability to “animate” ordinary objects — from plants and fruit to everyday items — and transform them into compositions with a magical, ironic, or dreamlike quality that goes beyond mere documentation.
