Unique oppurtunity, complex well aged Amarone. The grapes for Amarone come from Marion's finest vines. These vines are up to 60 years old and are located on the hills surrounding Marcellise. Harvesting is entirely manual, and upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are immediately laid out to dry. They remain there until mid-December. This is followed by destemming and a 36-hour cold maceration. Fermentation is carried out using wild yeasts. After fermentation, the skins are separated from the juice, and the wine is aged in large oak barrels for approximately three years. After aging, a strict selection process takes place, and the final blend is determined. Only approximately 3,000 bottles of Amarone are produced in the best years. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. The nose reveals ripe dark fruits such as plum and blackberry, complemented by hints of red berries, black pepper, and a touch of vanilla. The palate is smooth and well-structured, with silky tannins and a precise balance between richness and freshness. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lingering impression of ripe fruit and delicate spice. It's a refined choice for those seeking a full-bodied, age-worthy red with great character and depth. Wines are stored in a professional climatized cellar and in perfect condition. Aging possible until around 2033.
