This is a bottle of Argiolas Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi IGT red wine from 1999. Produced by the Sardinian winery Argiolas, it is considered a flagship label and a symbol of Sardinian oenology. It is a blend of native Sardinian vines, typically Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale and Malvasia Nera. The wine is known for its great structure, balance, finesse and persistence. The label has a stylized image of the "Great Mother" from the Archaeological Museum of Cagliari.
