This copy is the fifth impression, September 1935 of the first edition for general circulation printed in July 1935. The book includes an introduction, 10 books, 2 appendix of ‘Nominal Roll’ Places, Personal Names, and Index. Original Sand-coloured cloth, spine lettered in gilt, upper board with centre gilt motto of double crossed swords ('The sword also means clean-ness and death'). Top page edges gilt. External covers in nice shape, with some uneven fading. Internally the book in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. Several pages and Inserts from old newspapers with interesting articles about "Lawrence of Arabia" are included with the book. Pages are very clean. Rough cut page edges since its publication.
