The piece is attributed to 瑞祥 (Zuishō) and comes with its original wooden storage box bearing calligraphy. The burner features a beautifully pierced (openwork) domed lid crowned with a detailed lion (獅子, Shishi) finial. The Shishi lion is a traditional guardian motif symbolizing protection and strength. The body is decorated with an intricate relief pattern in a classical style, and the vessel stands elegantly on three sturdy legs. Side handles add balance and traditional character to the design. The surface displays a deep, rich patina typical of fine Takaoka metalwork, enhancing its antique aesthetic. The interior is clean, and there are no noticeable cracks, chips, or major scratches.
