This rare collection of six bottles of Bouzy Rouge 1971 offers a unique glimpse into the history of the Champagne region. Before the Coteaux Champenois appellation was officially established in 1974, these still red wines were sold as "Vin Nature de la Champagne".
The bottles were produced by the renowned Vesselle family (Georges/Maurice Vesselle) from Bouzy, a village world-famous for its top-quality Pinot Noir. The labels also mention distribution by the illustrious house Champagne Mumm, underscoring the authenticity and historical provenance of this lot.
Levels: Mostly Top Shoulder / Upper Shoulder.
Labels: Original labels with slight signs of aging/patina, fully legible.
