Arman's fragmented sculpture of a violin is a fine example of the artist's sculptural work focusing on musical instruments. Divided horizontally at nine intervals rotating around a centre point along the body of the instrument, the work appears fragmented although it is sill cohesive. Having brass fitments throughout.
A very low edition of an Important bronze sculpture is signed on the lower violin. Then mounted on a white marble base.
Dimensions: 74cm high x 20cm x 15cm
The marble base is 15cm x 15cm

A fine investment for a collector of 20th Century art by a sort after artist.
