【Design & Symbolism】
The vase features a unique "Henko" (flattened) form, which provides a modern aesthetic suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors. It is decorated with high-relief auspicious motifs:
Front: Two elegant Cranes (Tsuru) looking toward the heavens.
Back: Three dynamic Turtles (Kame) swimming.
In Japanese culture, cranes and turtles are powerful symbols of longevity (1,000 and 10,000 years), prosperity, and eternal happiness. The motifs are accentuated with gold and silver-colored metallic finishes, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark "pear-skin" (Nashiji) bronze texture.
