Silent Shelterissa tutkin äidin ja lapsen hiljaista, vaistonvaraista sidosta – yhteyttä, joka on olemassa sanojen, ajan ja muodon yli. Rohkeiden mustavalkoisten muotojen ja jatkuvien virtaavien linjojen avulla pyrin riisumaan kuvan sen puhtaimman emotionaalisen olemuksen tasolle: suoja, läheisyys ja ehtymätön rakkaus.

Hahmojen ympärillä oleva tumma abstrakti siluetti toimii sekä kehona että turvapaikkana, sulkien lapsen lämpimän ja turvallisen tilan ympäröivään tilaan. Minimalistinen sommittelu kutsuu katsojan tuntemaan enemmän kuin pelkästään katsomaan, jolloin tunteet nousevat yksinkertaisuudesta. Jokainen kaari ja kontuuri on luotu heijastamaan hellävaraisuutta, haavoittuvuutta ja äidin sisäistä hiljaista voimaa.

This piece reflects my fascination with human connection in its most raw and universal form. I wanted the painting to feel timeless — almost like a memory, a shadow, or a feeling we all recognize deep within ourselves.
