Syntynyt Roomassa vuonna 1987 kroatialaisjuurisen perheen kasvatina, Kapitolina Volkova työskentelee tällä hetkellä Alankomaissa. Hän opiskeli taidehistoriaa Sapienza-yrityskorkeakoulussa Romassa ja muutti Amsterdamiin vuonna 2012, missä hän oli mukana Amsterdamin taidekorkeakoulussa.
Vuosien varrella hän on osallistunut eri kansainvälisiin julkaisuisiin ja mediakanaviin, tehnyt yhteistyötä taiteilijoiden kanssa monografioissa, kirjoissa ja katalogeissa sekä kuratoinut useita gallerianäyttelyitä.
