L’artista Hestela Charbonnier develops a painting research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and human being. His production ranges from botanically energized compositions to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges. In floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, material stratifications and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation and fragility. The forms expand on the canvas with an instinctive yet conscious gesture, giving life to intense and engaging compositions. In figurative works, however, the artist explores interiority through postures, looks and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, charged with emotion and psychological depth. A common element to both lines of inquiry is attention to matter and color as primary expressive tools. Whether it is a flower in full bloom or a figure immersed in its own thoughts, every work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy, between gesture and introspection.
