Facing a wall made of dark geometric shapes, a dancer rises on pointe in a posture of absolute precision. The contrast between architectural rigidity and the suppleness of the body creates a visually fascinating tension. The artist's explanation of the work
I like confronting two universes that seem incompatible.
Geometry evokes rigor, rules and mechanical perfection. Dance, on the other hand, represents emotion, breath and freedom. By uniting these two worlds, I wanted to show that beauty appears precisely where opposites meet.
This work speaks of balance, discipline and elegance.
