Matteo Guarnaccia (Milano 1954-2022) was a reference figure in contemporary visionary culture, active in art (international exhibitions, installations at the Milan Triennale and at the Hall of Flowers in San Francisco); in fashion (Biba, Corso Como 10, Vivienne Westwood, Malo); in design (Bruno Munari, Atelier Mendini, Italo Rota & Partners, Yoox, Coin); in writing (essays dedicated to avant-gardes/underground cultures of the twentieth century); in journalism (Vogue, Rolling Stone, Abitare, Zoom, Gap Japan, Wired, D-La Repubblica, Alias); in teaching (visiting professor at NABA, Domus Academy, Accademia di Carrara, IUAV); in curatorship (exhibitions dedicated to Skate Art, the Provos movement, psychedelia, Vivienne Westwood, Giorgio Gaber); in music (Byrds, Donovan, Timoria).
1) Bob Dylan Fun Book.
2011
Preface by Riccardo Bertoncelli.
Created by the artist as a tribute to the American musician for his 70th birthday, in a limited and numbered edition of 1000 copies (ours is no. 980).
Front and back silvered illustrated cover on the front plate.
A large-format art book, consisting of 24 coloring, cutting and assembling plates, which recount the early stages of the extraordinary career of the “minstrel of Duluth,” from the late 1950s to July 1966, the date of his mysterious motorcycle accident. It also contains a Snakes-and-Ladders game with dice to assemble.
Complete with the yellow sheet attached at the end of the book with instructions on how to build a "magical theater" of cut-out characters on one side, and promotional information about Guarnaccia’s book editions on the other side.
Pages 50
Dimensions 48 x 33 cm.
2) Psychedelic heroes. Coloring book. Illustrated edition.
2010
Limited and numbered edition of 1000 copies (our is no. 94).
Illustrated front and back cover.
48 black-and-white plates dedicated to 55 figures from the international psychedelic scene of the 1960s, with small explanatory notes, in LP format. A publication that challenges the reader’s creativity, inviting active interaction with one’s own imagination using colors or scissors on each plate. Each page can become a unique work unlike any other.
Pages 48
Dimensions 31 x 31 cm.
3) Alphabeat.
2010
Limited and numbered edition of 1000 copies (our is no. 703).

Conditions of all three volumes: very good, few minimal signs of wear due to time and only external, and when present, limited to corners or edges, as the volumes come from a recently closed library. Therefore the inside is as if never thumbed and the binding is intact and sturdy.
